Deja Dead by Kathy Reichs

Dr. Temperance Brennan, the Director of Forensic Anthropology for the province of Quebec, has a case which reminds her of a previous investigation and must convince the police they are dealing with a serial killer.

I watch "Bones" on TV, so of course, I like this type of book. Some of the medical detail was over my head, but the story was good. I enjoyed the book. I've read some of the later books, so the background information was interesting.

Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult

When Charlotte and Sean O'Keefe learn about their daughter's illness, they wonder if they should have known about it sooner and begin to question what constitutes the value of even the most fragile life.

Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors (I loved The Pact)...however, I felt this book was a remake of My Sister's Keeper. I just knew how it would end long before I finished the book. The family dynamics was fascinating.
